Solution to common faults of shredders
1. The current of the crusher fluctuates greatly, and the feeding is extremely unstable.
Current reflects the magnitude of equipment load. The fluctuation of current indicates that there is a problem with feeding, but the feeding frequency is constant, indicating that the feeding amount is constant. So why does the current fluctuate? Think about it from a deeper perspective, because a crusher is a special device that can perform forward and reverse control. So this problem is caused by the inconsistency between the feeding direction of the crusher and the operating direction of the crusher.
2. There is a large amount of material sprayed at the feeding port of the crusher or in the crushing chamber.
3. The control system of the pulverizer does not trip when it is not turned on, and it trips as soon as it is turned on.
Firstly, tripping is caused by a short circuit. The pulverizer does not trip when it is not turned on, but tripping immediately indicates that the short circuit is caused by vibration after the pulverizer is turned on. So this type of fault is most likely due to door protection or forward and reverse travel switch wire breakage or loose wiring, resulting in a short circuit caused by startup vibration and tripping of the control system.
4. The star contactor of the crusher starts to engage, but the front and back main contactors do not engage.
The main reason is that the on-site forward and reverse travel switches are inconsistent with the forward and reverse selection switches on the control cabinet, or the on-site or forward and reverse travel switches are not pressed or damaged.
5. Low output of crusher
(1) Check if the crusher has reached the rated current;
(2) Check whether the assembly of the equipment is reasonable;
(3) Check if the direction of the crushing feed is consistent with the direction of the guide plate;
(4) Whether the air volume of the fan configured for the crushing system meets the requirements.
(1) The spraying of material at the feeding port of the crusher may be due to improper adjustment of the hammer gap. The main reason is that the gap between the hammer blades is too large, which leads to the spraying of materials by the crusher;
(2) Another reason is that the direction of the crusher's feeding is not consistent with the direction of the crusher's operation. When the direction is opposite, the hammer of the crusher collides with the material, which will cause some materials to spray out, and over time, a lot of materials will accumulate in the crushing chamber.
6. During the startup process of the crusher, there may be sudden shutdowns that can be restarted.
This situation needs to be analyzed from the working principle of the crusher. The pulverizer can be started, indicating that the control is normal. However, during the startup process, there may be sudden shutdowns, indicating that this phenomenon is still caused by the vibration of the crusher after startup.
